Time is the force of nature that moves and allows space to progress as it stretches out the Universe around us. Some say it is more like a concept as to where we use it to measure things instead, however some scientists in our world have discovered that by practicing the super atomic cloud and seeing how it slows down actual light.
The idea of time travel on the other hand is still in the works as no one has successfully come up with the idea of what can truly bend time and space around us. Contrary to popular belief, the "Grandfather Paradox" isn't what is holding us back, but more than likely the fact we have not reached the very second yet in which we accomplish time travel. Once that is done then more than likely we will finally start seeing time travelers.
