A Type 8.0 Civilization is one that has an energy consumption of 1086 watts and it can control the entire Xenoverse. It is way more of God than man

But it can take 1063 years to reach this civilization!

Transportation[]

Within a single metaverse, Type 8 Civilizations are completely unencumbered in transporting; they can create and delete data from anywhere in the metaverse almost effortlessly. Transportation within the multiverses and universes is also effortless; there is no real cost to physical transport, though this is done purely for recreational purposes because teleporting by direct alteration of the metaversal codes is much easier.

For transportation between different metaverses within the xenoverse, the civilization must rely on using the metaversal APIs, built in systems created by the Illuminati to allow metaverses to send signals to each other. Different metaverses have different input/output behaviour, though with sufficient research and effort this behaviour can almost always be understood and the metaverse can be hacked and controlled.

Engineering[]

A Type 8 Civilization can perform arbitrary feats within the computational abilities of a metaverse, which are quite considerable (able to, at peak capacity, simulate tetrational numbers of multiverses). For small Type 8 Civilizations, a total rearrangement of a metaverse might come at considerable cost, but Type 8 Civilizations will often use a wide range of special-purpose metaverses, many with their own internal multiverse structures.

Networking multiple metaverses can also be done; this comes at a greater cost, and is typically done in the more centralised parts of the Type 8 Civilization that have implications over large portions of the entire xenoverse. The most intensive structures are typically those involved in hacking new metaverses.

Evolution[]

Eventually, a Type 8 Civilization may set its sights to systems beyond the xenoverse that it lives in, and start trying to break into the hyperverse in which the simulation is physically located. Such a feat is difficult and dangerous; often, when a civilization tries to escape the xenoverse, it is erased by higher entities who don't want a new competitor to rise. If done successfully, however, the civilisation can grow into a Type 9.0 Civilization and perform ever greater feats.
